A world-class celebration of Oregon's bounty is just days away!
Feast Portland is a gathering of all-star chefs, winemakers, farmers and more featuring food grown right here in Oregon. It's mission...to help end childhood hunger in Oregon and around the nation.
Feast Portland runs from September 20th through the 23rd and KATU wants to share the bounty of Feast with a lucky viewer. KATU is giving away 2 "All in Packages" to Feast Portland that includes VIP access to the festival's marquee events. The prize package is valued at nearly fifteen hundred dollars!
The "All In Package" prize consists of:
1. Two one-hour early entries to both Friday and Saturday Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting events

Experience the creative spirit of America's most innovative culinary talent through their chef'd-up interpretations of sandwiches brought to a whole new level at Feast Portland's kick-off flagship tasting event. From po' boy to banh mi, savor the best sandwiches you've ever tried paired with craft beers made by Portland's landmark Widmer Brothers Brewery under the stars at Downtown Portland's chic Director Park. Though the definition of sandwich - and even what counts as bread - is up for creative interpretation, the end result will be pure magic.
Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting
Location: Pioneer Courthouse Square

Portland's so-called living room transforms into the city's dining room for two days as dozens of the region's most celebrated wineries, breweries, vendors and artisans take over the award-winning Pioneer Courthouse Square for Feast Portland's premiere daytime event. Experience the scene, meet the chefs and winemakers you've read about.

Night Market
Location: Ecotrust Building

The Feast Portland Night Market will transform one of Portland's most well-known, historic buildings into the nation's liveliest outdoor celebration of global street food. Imbued with the spirit of the great nighttime food markets of Southeast Asia, but celebrating multiple food traditions, the Feast Portland Night Market will embody the sights, sounds, smells, and energy of a world culinary journey.
High Comfort
Location: Multnomah Athletic Club
Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 9/22
High Comfort is a showcase of comfort foods pushed out of their comfort zone and into an elevated and rarefied realm: where mac and cheese is scented with Oregon truffles, where a Reuben sandwich is made with Dungeness crab and sturgeon caviar, and where a diner is never more than an arm's length away from the next piece of Iberian ham or foie gras. Oregon's premier wineries, and a few of their high-end European counterparts, provide the perfect complement to the evening's indulgences.
The chefs will do their best to accomodate special dietary requests at some of the events. However, we cannot guarantee that substitutions will be available. In general, due to the large number of festival attendees we are not able to make allowances for special dietary needs or food allergies. Please inform your server immediately of any food allergies.
